Before we jump into what this role is about, allow us to introduce ourselves!

Founded in 2010, Service Stars is a residential services company, prioritizing outstanding customer service for homeowners & their heating, air-conditioning, electrical, and plumbing needs in Fairfield County.

It started with 3 brothers in the trades, operating right out of their family's home. Fast forward over a decade later, and the company has grown into a $4M company that's constantly looking to expand!

The Production Manager is responsible for management activities and the developmental plans for the installation department.

This full-time position is also responsible for following and enforcing policies and procedures to ensure the company fulfills its contractual obligations for installations in accordance with quality, customer satisfaction, profit objectives, and directives.

The Production Manager is responsible for coordinating timely, quality installs with the operations manager, the dispatcher and the customer.

What Does the

Do?

BEING THE
Production Manager,
YOU WOULD:

  • Supervise & Lead
    OUR INSTALL TEAMs
     

  • Responsible for
    recruiting, interviewing,
    training, managing,
    & evaluating installers

     

  • Complete Audits
    on Installations to
    ensure quality work

     

  • Ensure Permits
    are obtained and correct for the Job
     

  • Communicate
    Weekly goals and performance for install teams
     

  • Provide coaching
    with teams and individuals for skill improvements
     

  • Resolve issues
    & concerns from client regarding installations
     

  • Ensure Compliance
    of Install with local, state, & Company requirements
     

  • Provide Feedback
    to management regarding revenue opportunities and all issues relevant to Company
     

  • Manage Budget
    within department
     

  • Manage Inventory
    & equipment of Install teams
     

  • Meet or Exceed
    our company goals

We can't hire just anyone to be a

Production Manager.

Here's what we require for the job:

Minimum qualifications

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • High School Diploma

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Knowledge of current code requirements

  • Understanding of accounting and finance as it relates to the industry

  • Climbing up and down ladders or stairs from time to time

  • Moderate lifting may be required (15-20) pounds

  • Ability to work more than 40 hours per week & up to 12 hours per day

  • Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods working at a computer

  • Service center environment with moderate noise level

  • Exposure to extreme heat or cold may be required when working in the field

  • Dress code is business casual
